For too long, the SEND system has let down many children and young people. Rosie is committed to speaking up for those who may feel unheard as changes are made.

Here is an overview of the responses I have received so far…

The feedback from the survey is clear.
Most respondents believe the government’s plans do not adequately address the significant challenges within SEN education. They feel that the measures outlined in the white paper, along with the proposed funding, will not have a meaningful impact in schools and are unlikely to benefit all students.
I will continue to represent the insight and experiences shared by constituents in Westminster and hold the government account to provide actionable and effective improvements.
In terms of local provision, in the coming weeks, I am meeting with the Cabinet Member for Education and Skills at Kent County Council. The information provided in this survey will help to inform this meeting.
This survey will remain open ahead of my meeting with KCC, so please continue to share your thoughts.
