Rosie Duffield MP has written to the Health Secretary urging the Government to give all students access to the Men B vaccine and improve awareness of the risks amongst students and their families.
A generation of sixth formers and university students have missed out on this vaccine as it was only introduced in 2015. No more families should have to discover too late that protection existed but wasn’t available on the NHS.
Rosie has organised this cross-party letter with Bournemouth East MP Jessica Toale MP, whose constituency has also been impacted by Men B. They are joined by 39 cross-party MPs who want to see access to this vital vaccine extended, to ensure our devastation in Canterbury is not repeated elsewhere.
Rosie's office are here to support all those impacted. Please do get in touch if you need support at enquiries@rosieduffieldmp.co.uk.
