Campaigning for Safer Fireworks for Vulnerable People and Animals

More and more constituents contact me every year to share their concerns about the impact of fireworks on animals and vulnerable people.

I was pleased to attend an important event in Parliament with the Fireworks Impact Coalition this week, made up of leading animal welfare charities, to hear directly how we can make celebrations safer for everyone and introduce much tighter regulations to protect pets and wildlife.

I'll continue to support measures that protect our communities while allowing people to celebrate responsibly.
