It's been my privilege to serve as Member of Parliament for Canterbury, Whitstable and the Villages since 2017.​  I'm proud to have served as the only Labour MP in Kent between 2017 and 2024 and the County's first ever female Labour MP. 

​

I have lived and worked in Canterbury for more than 25 years and brought up my family here. I know first hand how Canterbury and Whitstable is an amazing area to live and work, and I appreciate the daily challenges faced by people across the Constituency.
