Right now we need calm leadership, not political posturing

Yesterday on BBC Politics Live I talked about the Home Secretary’s ill-judged comments concerning the policing of protests. As someone who works closely with both the Jewish community and Canterbury Mosque, I am worried that rather than calming the situation her comments will heighten tensions. At this time we need a level-headed approach from the Government, not political posturing for a future Conservative leadership election.
